What a stunning day at Clissold House!

Having the opportunity to work in such incredible venues within our own Borough, Hackney, is such a privilege and so when Scott and Jen asked us to help make their perfect day we were absolutely thrilled.

After tying the knot at another beautiful Hackney Venue, Hackney Town Hall, Scott, Jen and 40 of their closest friends and family made the short trip to Clissold House where we greeted them with some of our award winning canapés alongside some fabulous mini plates and bowls. Swapping the starter course for a selection of more substantial food for the drinks reception is a great way to make sure that, as the Bride and Groom you get to enjoy a glass of fizz with friends before taking your seats, and also means you can get a little more variety in the menu too.

Scott and Jen went for a combination of British and Asian dishes with canapés including roast loin of venison with chestnut rösti and celeriac puree and Coconut and coriander dhal with mini poppadum, green mango and onion bhaji bowls.

For main course it was Pan fried fillet of sea bass with artichoke puree, baby leeks and spinach, deep fried artichoke skins and a white wine lemon sauce before the show-stopping dessert – instant ice cream bar!

With four stunning flavours, our team of chefs create instant ice cream in front of your guests using dry ice and let you do the rest with a selection of fabulous toppings. It was the perfect end to the perfect day.
