Dance-offs, giant desserts and a banana split…

As birthday parties go, this one was up there! All the suppliers went to town with their contributions and ISES members showed up in force to wish Happy Birthday to the mother hen. In fairness you can hardly fail to throw a party in The Loft, one of EggLDN’s many versatile event spaces (@EggEventsLondon www.egglondon.co.uk/corporate). There’s a reason this venue has won multiple Cool Venue awards. We’ve known it for ages but everyone else is starting to find out just how special EggLDN is as a corporate event space. A special mention to the Off To Work team who had a strong presence on the dance floor and also provided some of their fabulous waiting staff to serve our food. As always they were switched on, proactive and full of smiles. Fat Unicorn (what a name by the way) were making dreams come true, cropping us into pictures with our childhood idols using their “green thing.” Obviously the Boulevard team had a snap with S-Club 7, then Mark spent the rest of the night trying to dance like Bradley, however Lowell Cabual of Classico Productions stole the show on that front, I digress… Read more…


Sadly we missed out on the shenanigans at Gilgamesh last month but never mind because we are catering for the highly anticipated ISES 15th birthday tonight and we plan on making it extra special.

Not only will we be transforming our triumphant canapé cup 2015 entry (00Heaven) into a giant birthday cake, we will be rolling out 2014s winner (The Hunter’s Gathering) and two of the contenders for this year’s entry will be circulating the room as well. All feedback is welcome and appreciated as we would love to beat our good friends over at Eden to the hat-trick in 2016. Read more…

#ISESHalloween – Simply a night to remember.

The ISES Halloween party obviously didn’t fail to deliver, how could it? With so many amazing suppliers throwing their skills into the mix! The Bloomsbury Ballroom, one of London’s most exquisite corporate events venues, played host, so quite naturally Boulevard was put in charge of the catering, and we really went to town with a whole host of themed creations. Check out the hashtag #ISESHalloween for some of the highlights. Jackie at Partridge Events also did a fabulous job of planning the whole bash, another talented eventprof who really knows her craft and did an exceptional job. Also involved were the vibrant chaps from Exquisite Cocktails offering ‘exactly what it says on the tin’ and serving, quite literally… Exquisite Cocktails. While London Hair and Beauty had the whole party looking Ghoulgeous! Not to mention the WamBam team, led by lady Alex herself, who brought a spectacle of cabaret entertainment to the proverbial table. With that ‘mash-up’ of talent, it was always going to be an absolute home run of an event, and we simply cannot wait for next year.

Oops we did it again!!!

The Boulevard team were exhibiting again last week at the annual Square Meal Venues and Events show and, as always, it was amazing to see so many of our favourite people in the industry. Championship London Catering

WOW what can we say!

England Ladies Hockey Team – Champions of Europe. It makes us immensely proud to say that we catered, not only for all of the VIPs, media, officials, broadcasters and volunteers, but also for the athletes of such an epic event. The European Hockey Championships, held at one of our favourite venues The Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre and a stone’s throw away from our premises in Hackney Wick, took place last week and wasn’t it just awesome! A wedding to remember

Isabel and Sue tied the knot at the impeccable Old Finsbury Town Hall last weekend, celebrating their day with 150 close friends and family. Certainly one of the stand-out weddings of the summer so far, guests were treated to an array of interactive food stations and bowl food, sandwiched by two servings of our award winning canapés. There was live pasta making where chefs rolled out fresh tortellini to order, a traditional seafood stand with roaming fish and chip cones and an ice cream trike serving up various delicious and refreshing flavours in sweet waffle cones. Vanity Fair And Intelligence Squared Digital Summit

The Intelligence Squared Digital Summit for Vanity Fair held at the wonderful Shoreditch Town Hall trended No 2 in UK on Twitter. With speakers like Jeremy Paxton and Martha Lane Fox this proved to be a massive sell out and a huge success. We were honoured to be part of the package providing refreshment through the day for attendees, staff and the all-important Green Rooms. The 200 guests at the post event reception were treated to our Award winning canapés including parmesan crusted lamb and our homemade pasta tortellini of wild mushroom, vermouth and white wine sauce.
