A wedding to remember

A wedding to remember

Isabel and Sue tied the knot at the impeccable Old Finsbury Town Hall last weekend, celebrating their day with 150 close friends and family. Certainly one of the stand-out weddings of the summer so far, guests were treated to an array of interactive food stations and bowl food, sandwiched by two servings of our award winning canapés. There was live pasta making where chefs rolled out fresh tortellini to order, a traditional seafood stand with roaming fish and chip cones and an ice cream trike serving up various delicious and refreshing flavours in sweet waffle cones.

The formalities of a seated three-course meal were out the window for this one and guests were free to roam the great hall and tuck into the vast range of food on offer. The Boulevard Shepherd’s pie with confit lamb shoulder and butter potato was a huge hit on the classic food station, as was the king prawn cocktail at the seafood bar, but it was the atmosphere that really shone.

“We had a fabulous day, made all the better because of the quality of the food and the engagement from the guests into the different food stations, so overall a great success!”

I spent most of my youth hanging around the kitchen in our family restaurant ‘Boulevard.’ I was always intrigued by food and how it’s prepared to enhance different flavours and then presented immaculately. I feel privileged to be in the position to be able to work with my family everyday, planning, organising and delivering exceptional events with outstanding food.
