Boulevard is celebrating an important landmark in its rich history as 2014 sees the 25th anniversary of our second-generation family business. Since 1989, Boulevard has shifted from a small restaurant, hugely popular with the local community to a full events catering service, still a force within Hackney but having extended its reach across the capital.
One thing that has remained a mainstay in its remarkable evolution, however, is the family ethos. Siblings, Dan, Keran and Mark, along with Executive Chef Adam took over Boulevard some years back, taking it from strength to strength.
25 years on and Boulevard still receives requests from, and is still in contact with customers from the original Boulevard restaurant in Victoria Park. It is the ability to maintain this level of personal care that separates Boulevard from many other catering companies. However, Boulevard has also proved it can mix it with the biggest events caterers in the business recently providing catering for the launch of fashion designer Ian Stuart’s flagship store in London and in the Olympic year of 2012 laying on a three course banquet dinner for 2000 at Vespa World Days and 10,000 meals for the Olympic security team throughout the Games.
Whether providing event catering on the Cutty Sark or for the 80th Birthday of Sir Bruce Forsythe, Boulevard has a history that’s compelling, exciting and authentic.
Hard work and conviction have seen Boulevard enjoy record business during this momentous year, but what you can always be sure of is that it is delivered with as much passion as when we started out.
